Paterson International (PI) is a specialist recruitment firm based in London. The company works exclusively within the Private Banking and Wealth Management sectors on a Global basis. Our mandate is to work on behalf of our clients, either on a retained or contingent basis, to find private banking & wealth management professionals to help our clients develop and grow their business.
PI works on an on going basis for approximately 6 to 8 Private Banks. These Banks
range from the Private Banking arms of the Global Investment Banks to smaller ‘pure-
We work for our clients in two ways. Either on the direct request of our clients to go out and find a specific profile of banker to help them strengthen an existing desk or develop further the coverage of a Geographical region, or alternatively we work on behalf of specific candidates who are, for personal or professional reasons, looking to make a career change. In this instance we are able, through our long standing client relationships, to introduce these candidates to our clients and as is the usual case, the banks have welcomed these introductions and been able to either add them to existing desks or create a unique position for the candidate.
About 80% of the candidate profiles we search for are Private Bankers/Relationship Managers, the remaining 20% are individuals that work in support functions to the Private Banking teams, these profiles include but are not limited to: Portfolio Managers, Investment Advisers, Structured Product specialists, Investment Bankers and Trust & Estate Planners (fiduciary business).
Once Paterson International has agreed terms of business with a client we work to try and present them with the best candidates that come to the job market, and never solicit their employees for job opportunities elsewhere.
The privacy of our candidates is treated with the utmost care. A candidates CV is never sent to any third party without first receiving the candidates express permission to do so.
